The municipal announcement places reading at the centre of an event that will also bring educational perspectives from nursery school to university into the same conversation. Goizueta’s address, “Volver a leer. La importancia de la literatura en la educación”, will explore literature’s place in education. The author of La sangre del padre and El sueño de Troya is also scheduled to sign books. The programme includes a discussion of the respective roles of families and schools, with critical thinking among the themes. For parents and students, the useful question is what a renewed reading habit might look like beyond a single talk. Choosing a book together, making time to discuss it and allowing readers to disagree can turn reading into a shared activity rather than another task to complete. That is our practical perspective, rather than a programme announced by the organisers. The announcement establishes the venue and start time, but does not confirm admission or booking arrangements. Anyone planning to attend should check those details with the organiser before travelling, especially if they need accessibility information. Source: Ayuntamiento de Segovia, 19 October 2026\.
