# El Peñigoso roadworks: uphill closure on 13–14 October

Drivers using El Peñigoso should plan around an uphill closure on Tuesday 13 and Wednesday 14 October, as Segovia carries out a second phase of road-surface repairs.

The affected section runs from the Ventorro de San Pedro Abanto roundabout to La Postal restaurant, according to the council announcement reported by Europa Press.

After the works, traffic is expected to run in both directions while repaired areas remain fenced and signed for approximately a week as the surface hardens. Priority signs will regulate passage at those points. Follow the signs on site and allow additional time; this notice does not establish a diversion route.
