Segovia’s Tándem employment and business fair returns on 7 October 2026 for its tenth edition. The event will take place at the Universidad de Valladolid’s María Zambrano campus, at Plaza de la Universidad, 1, bringing employers, jobseekers, students and people considering a new professional direction into the same space.

For international residents, the fair offers something that online applications often do not: an opportunity to understand which organisations are active locally and to ask direct questions about vacancies, qualifications and language requirements. It should not be approached as a promise of immediate employment, but it can make Segovia’s labour market easier to navigate.

## Who is the fair for?

The organisers describe Tándem as an event for more than people who are formally unemployed. It is also aimed at university and vocational-training students, workers considering a change, prospective entrepreneurs and companies looking for staff. That mixture matters because different visitors will need different strategies.

A student may be looking for a first professional contact or an internship. Someone with experience from another country may need to explain how their qualifications translate into the Spanish market. International candidates should be ready to explain their work authorisation, availability and the status of any qualification recognition that a regulated profession may require. There is no need to open a conversation with every administrative detail, but answering clearly when asked builds confidence.
