THE WEEKLY EDIT

Monday, 12 October 2026 · Your week in Segovia

---

## A city you can make your own.

Good morning, Segovia. Yesterday, I went to see *Camuñas*, surrounded by children and families. Its story of courage and the warmth of the occasion left me thinking about how we find our place in a city. This week’s edition follows that thought into a local business fair, the theatre and an evening out.

Three reads. Two plans. One local discovery. Here is your **3–2–1.**

### 2\. Meet the people building businesses here

**Local News.** FeriAJE returns to Plaza Mayor this Saturday. Our short guide suggests approaching it with curiosity: meet an entrepreneur, discover a local service and ask about the projects taking shape around you.

## 1 · Place worth discovering

### Canavan’s Theatre: Segovia after dark

What keeps bringing me back is the music: the ’80s, ’90s and 2000s, in a setting with the feel of an English or Irish pub. On my visits, around midnight, the doors open into a nightclub with ornate décor reminiscent of French Baroque and Rococo and a more contemporary soundtrack.

IE students and local people share the space, and I love its lively, welcoming atmosphere. **Plaza de la Rubia, 2.**
