Murano meets La Granja: glassmaking days on 15–17 October
Live demonstrations and museum visits bring the Royal Glass Factory’s craft into focus, with Venetian glassmaker Matteo Tagliapietra.
The Real Fábrica de Cristales in La Granja will host three days devoted to glassmaking from 15 to 17 October, combining museum visits, live demonstrations and a tribute to former master craftspeople.
Venetian glassmaker Matteo Tagliapietra is due to work alongside the factory’s own masters on 15 and 16 October. The programme brings the traditions of Murano and La Granja into direct conversation, with activities exploring blown glass, cutting, decoration and lampmaking.
