Segovia rents reach €13.40 per square metre in September
Idealista’s latest city index is 5.7% above a year ago. Asking prices remain high despite a quarterly easing.
Segovia’s rental-price index stood at €13.40 per square metre per month in September, according to Idealista. That was 1.6% above August and 5.7% higher than a year earlier, although 1.5% below June.
The contrast matters for anyone looking for a home: a modest quarterly decline does not mean rents have returned to last year’s levels. In the Plaza Mayor–San Agustín area, the portal reported €16.10 per square metre, up 7.3% year on year.
These are market indicators based on advertised housing, not a bill that every tenant pays or a measure of every existing rental agreement. For newcomers comparing budgets, location and the characteristics of each property still matter.
