FeriAJE: meet the people building businesses in Segovia
A city’s working life can be surprisingly difficult to see from its best-known streets. On Saturday, FeriAJE brings part of that life into Plaza Mayor: local entrepreneurs presenting their projects, talking about their work and meeting people who might otherwise walk past without knowing they were there.
The fifth edition takes place on Saturday 17 October 2026, from 11:00 to 21:00, in Plaza Mayor, Segovia. It is organised by the Asociación de Jóvenes Empresarios de Segovia (AJE Segovia). The Federación Empresarial Segoviana’s announcement of 8 October confirms exhibition spaces, demonstrations, tastings, children’s workshops and music, with a DJ closing the day. Individual activity times have not been published in that announcement.
For international residents, this is an opportunity to discover the working city beyond familiar cafés and social circles. For students and people considering a project of their own, it offers a way to learn who is doing what locally. Families and curious neighbours are part of the intended audience too: this is not simply a business meeting moved outdoors.
Our suggestion is to make time for conversations. Ask someone how their project began, what they make or provide, and where to find them after the fair. Those ordinary questions can make Segovia feel more connected. You do not need a business plan to be interested in the people investing their time and ideas here.
