Water restrictions lifted in four Palazuelos neighbourhoods
Water-use restrictions have been lifted in Parque Robledo, Peñas del Erizo, Carrascalejo and Quitapesares, according to El Adelantado’s report of a new Palazuelos de Eresma municipal notice on 19 October.
The newspaper identifies the notice as bando 10/2026. It reports that the measure cancels restrictions introduced in the municipality’s notices of 26 June and 4 August, following the recovery of normal supply. A temporary connection installed by the Duero basin authority between Pontón Alto reservoir and the Rancho del Feo treatment plant has eased pressure on the Puente Alta system.
The geographical detail matters. This announcement concerns four named population centres within Palazuelos; it does not establish that every restriction elsewhere in the Mujer Muerta supply area has ended. Residents of other municipalities should follow their own town hall’s current notices.
This is an update to the situation described in The Segovian’s 17 October coverage. When sharing the news with neighbours, include the place names and date so an old warning or a wider interpretation does not continue circulating without context.
