Segovia has secured financing for a €588,500 municipal data office, with 60% coming from the European Regional Development Fund and the remaining 40% from the city council, according to El Adelantado’s report of 13 October.

The project combines improvements to the city’s digital information platform with a planned single channel through which residents, businesses and visitors could report and follow urban incidents.

For residents, the useful question is how easily a problem in the street can reach the right municipal service—and whether its progress can be followed. The announcement concerns approved funding and planned development; it does not establish that the new reporting service is already available.
